Hyderabad: Man Attempts to Attack Police During Drunk Driving Check at Champapet

A man, in an inebriated state, attempted to attack traffic police officers during a drunk driving check at Champapet on Saturday night.

The man, riding a scooter, was stopped by a team of Mirchowk police conducting the check.

A breathalyser test confirmed he was under the influence of alcohol.

When officers attempted to seize the vehicle, the man became aggressive and caused a disturbance on the road.

At one point, he picked up a stone and tried to attack the officers. He also attempted to set the vehicle on fire.

The traffic police were eventually able to seize the scooter and take it to the police station.

A case has been filed against the man for drunk driving.
